Thank you again for taking the quiz

As we mentioned earlier, there are no right or wrong answers from taking the quiz. We simply wanted to impress upon you some of the early signs of brain aging and cognitive decline.

As you maybe aware, keeping your brain active, challenged and engaged is an important step to keeping your brain young. At Botanica Research, we are big fans of

a)Brain Training Games – Sites like Lumosity and Brain Metrix, focus on challenging your brain process information better and faster.

b)Foreign languages – Learning foreign languages require that you analyze new sounds, which not only improves auditory processing skills, but also memory.

However, as much as these activities are helpful, they are ONLY half the battle. As you age, what you eat will play an even more CRITICAL role to the health of your brain.

As a result, we want to give you a simple, yet important tip for the long-term health of your brain.

Take plenty of antioxidants.

Antioxidants can come in fruits like blueberries and nuts, like almonds. However, one of the best sources of antioxidants is green tea.

In one Swiss study, MRIs revealed that people who drank green tea had greater activity in the working-memory area of their brains. Green tea has also been shown to help block the formation of plaques that are linked to Alzheimer’s disease.

In another Japanese study published in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.

The study, which included about 1,000 Japanese people aged 70 and older, showed improvements in memory, orientation, ability to follow commands, and attention for those that drank green tea.

The problem with drinking tea is that you have to drink 8 to 12 cups a day to get all the benefits of EGCG, a powerful antioxidant in green tea leaves.

For most people, that is an incovenience. However, our Green Tea extract handles this problem by giving you 500 mg of Green Tea Leaf extract in a single capsule. Caffeine is not a real issue as 1 capsule has only 15 mg of caffeine, whereas an 8oz cup of coffee has 180 mg of caffeine per serving.
